FRESNO, Calif. -- The 2026 Golden Coast Conference Championship field is officially set, with Loyola Marymount securing the No. 1 overall seed after capturing its third consecutive regular season title.
LMU (21-3, 6-0 GCC) clinched the top spot on Friday with a 14-7 victory over California Baptist, completing an undefeated run through conference play. Fresno State (14-9, 5-1) earned the No. 2 seed after closing out the regular season with a 13-10 win over Pacific Saturday afternoon. Rounding out the seedings are San Diego State (16-9, 4-2) at No. 3, followed by No. 4 California Baptist (13-10, 3-3), No. 5 Pacific (10-9, 2-4) and No. 6 Azusa Pacific (17-10, 1-5).
First round action begins on Friday, Apr. 10 from the Fresno State Aquatics Center. No. 3 San Diego State will face No. 6 Azusa Pacific at noon, followed by No. 4 CBU taking on No. 5 Pacific at 2 pm. LMU and Fresno State both receive first-round byes and will advance directly to Saturday’s semifinal round. The tournament continues with the semifinals and fifth place game on Saturday, Apr. 11 and Championship Sunday on Apr. 12.
