SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- No. 6 Fresno State Bulldogs earned a commanding 24-8 win over Santa Clara at the Sullivan Aquatic Center in Golden Coast Conference action Saturday afternoon. Hailey Andress and Brooke Ochoa led the Bulldogs with a combined 21 points.

Ochoa finished the game with 11 points, scoring six with five assists. Andress had seven goals with three assists, good for 10 points. Ten different Bulldogs (8-6, 2-0) scored in the win. 

Santa Clara (4-9, 0-1) struggled to find their rhythm throughout the match, managing only two goals in the third period and failing to score in the final quarter. Sydney Maccabe led the Broncos with 3 goals, but it wasn't enough to counter the Bulldogs' onslaught.
