GLENDORA, Calif. -- Klara Goldstein scored five goals to lead No. 24 San Diego State to a 14-4 win over Azusa Pacific in Golden Coast Conference action on Saturday afternoon. 

The Aztecs' (11-15, 4-2) defense allowed just one goal each quarter as goalies Tiaare Ahovel (eight saves) and Mandy Lagerlot (six saves and three steals) led the way. Rose Kanemy had five assists and a steal. Azusa Pacific (14-10, 2-4) was led by Shyanne Rainey's two goals. 

Azusa Pacific scored the first goal of the game from Rainey to take an early 1-0 lead. San Diego State answered with the next five goals to take control of the game. Goldstein scored three of the five in the run.

San Diego State led 5-2 at the break and after scoring the first two goals of the second half saw their lead never drop below four.
