SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- 
Chloe Morrison scored with :38 left to lift Santa Clara to a 12-11 come-from-behind win over California Baptist on Thursday afternoon in Golden Coast Conference play. The Broncos erased a three-goal deficit in the final 6:26 of the game to earn the win.

SCU (9-17, 1-5) trailed 10-7 with 6:26 to play in regulation after California Baptist (14-18, 0-7) scored on a goal from Jamie Hutton. Lauren Voss and Elle Fredrickson cut the lead to 10-9 with 5:11 to play on back-to-back goals. Hutton answered with her fourth of the game to make it 11-9 with 3:22 to play.

The Broncos scored three unanswered to claim the win. Morrison made it 11-10 with 2:41 to play and then less than 40 seconds later, Lauren Baglietto tied the game with 2:03 to play, 11-11 to set-up Morrison's winner.

Morrison finished the game with four goals and an assist for a five-point day. Maddie Clough had four assists in the win while Baglietto had a three-point day with two goals and an assist. 

In addition to Hutton's four goals, Dora Lehoczky had three goals for CBU. 

With the game tied at 6-6, CBU score three straight to build that three goal lead. Melinna Galbraith, Emaly Hutton and Kate Rodman all scored for the 9-6 lead with 1:17 left in the third quarter.
