FRESNO, Calif. -- No. 8 Fresno State scored the game's first six goals and Brooke Ochoa had a seven-point day to lift the Bulldogs to a 17-6 win over Azusa Pacific in Golden Coast Conference on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs (11-7, 4-0) won their seventh straight and remain perfect in GCC play with the victory. Ochoa had five goals and two assits. Daphne Guevremont had two goals and an assist and Ashley Williams had three goals. Ella Simone had three assists.

Skylar Ford and Madeline Schultz had two goals each for APU (12-9, 1-3).

Fresno State's defense, anchored by Paula Nieto Jasny's seven first half saves, blanked APU in the first quarter and bulilt a 6-0 lead before Schultz scored APU's first with 6:33 to play in the second quarter.

Bulldogs stretched the lead to 10-1 and never looked back.
