2022 Women's Postseason Honors Announced

2022 AWARD WINNERS | 2022 GCC CHAMPIONSHIPS | 2021 SCHEDULE/RESULTS

#GCCWaterPolo - After leading Fresno State to an unbeaten record in Golden Coast Conference play to secure the regular season championship, Emily Nicholson is the 2022 GCC Player of the Year and Fanni Muzsnay is the GCC Newcomer of the Year as the GCC announced its 2022 women's water polo postseason honors. All individual awards and All-GCC teams were voted on by the Conference's eight coaches.

Nicholson and Muzsnay are also two of the seven-member All-GCC First-Team. Joining them are Mariana Duarte (Pacific), Laurene Padilla (San Diego State), Marialena Seletopoulou (LMU), Clara Vulpisi (Pacific) and Mollie Williams. All told, 28 players earned postseason honors.

The 2022 GCC Women's Championships begin on Friday, April 22 with four first round match-ups from California Baptist's Lancer Aquatic Center in Riverside, Calif.
