FRESNO, Calif. -- Third-seed Loyola Marymount scored five goals in four minutes and posted a six-goal third quarter to lift them to a 10-5 win over second-seed San Diego State in the first semifinal of the 2019 Golden Coast Conference Women's Championships at Fresno State Saturday afternoon.

The 12th-ranked Lions (21-9) return to the GCC title game by taking a 2-1 second quarter deficit and turning it into a 8-2 lead thanks to seven unanswered goals to take control against the 17th-ranked Aztecs (16-15).
Mollie Williams posted a monster afternoon with four goals, three steals and an assist. Senior Hana Vilanova added three goals, an assist and a steal. San Diego State was led by Shelby Kraft with two goals.
After LMU took a 1-0 lead on a Williams goal three minutes into the game, San DIego State posted back-to-back goals by Haley Hagerty and Kraft to take a 2-1 lead with 6:21 to play.
From there it was all Lions. They scored the final two goals of the second quarter, the first by Morgan Molloy and then another by Williams. They then scored five goals in the first 3:48 of the third quarter to blow the game open.
The Lions will play in their fourth GCC title game on Sunday at 2:30 pm. San Diego State will play in the third place game at 12:45 pm.
