SAN DIEGO - The University of the Pacific earned a 13-4 win over Fresno Pacific in game two of the 2016 Golden Coast Conference Women's Championships on Friday afternoon at San Diego State's Aztec Aquaplex.

The second-seeded Tigers (15-16) advance to Saturday's semifinals and will face third-seed California Baptist (22-10) at 1:30 pm.
A balanced attack was key for Pacific as they scored six in the first half and then seven in the second to pull away. Karolina Hlavata (SO/Strakonics, Czech Rep.) scored four goals while Rachel Krieger (SO/Regina, Sask., Canada) (SO/Regina, Sask., Canada) added three goals and an assist. Newcomer of the Year Viktoria Szmodics (FR/Gelsesziget, Hungary) had a goal, three assists and two steals.
Fresno Pacific (9-16) was led by Emily Knowles (SO/Long Beach, CA) with three goals and 10 saves by goalie Courtney Hall (JR/Poterville, CA). They will play Azusa Pacific in the consolation match-up on Saturday at 12 noon.
